Cloud DevOps Engineer Job ID 6315 Location SLAC - Menlo Park, CA Full-Time Regular **SLAC Job Postings** **Position Overview:** As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be a key member of the Cloud Services team within SLAC IT, playing a vital role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to enable scalable, secure, and efficient operations. This position integrates cloud engineering expertise with DevOps principles to support SLAC¿s mission-critical research and administrative activities by building and maintaining reliable, high-performance systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will focus on automating workflows, streamlining deployment pipelines, and optimizing cloud-based environments. With an emphasis on AWS platforms, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, you¿ll help enhance SLAC¿s cloud capabilities and operational efficiency. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and make a meaningful impact by advancing cloud technologies and DevOps practices. SLAC is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) laboratory operated by Stanford University and based in Menlo Park, CA.
