Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will provide support in food preparation tasks as needed, working closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prep Cook Duties:

• Assist with basic food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling ingredients.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards while preparing ingredients.
• Label and store food properly in accordance with kitchen standards.
• Support line cooks during busy periods with prep or plating assistance.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and assist with kitchen prep tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
