Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead the social media team making daily posts and continually evaluate the changing social media landscape. Administer quarterly promotions, company apparel and business cards. Work with the Purchasing Department to prepare and negotiate advertising and promotional contracts. Ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced, tight-deadline environment. Understand company products and brands. Write marketing copy. Execute part numbers for marketing items. Update and add products to electronic jobber. Communicate with data houses on displaying new or discontinued product data. Conducts market research. Enforce our MAP Program. Prepare and approve co-op spreadsheet and statements. Must be legally authorized to drive and able to properly operate a company pickup. Other duties may be assigned. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel and Word.
