**Description** Cattle Buyer Manager - Tolleson, AZ General Summary: JBS is seeking a Cattle Buyer Manager for the JBS - Tolleson, AZ location. Responsibilities: + Responsible for cattle procurement and associated activities within the Southwest region for the JBS - Tolleson, AZ location + Manage a team of commissioned cattle buyers to satisfy the cattle needs of JBS, both in Tolleson and other JBS facilities + Responsible for cattle procurement from cattle feeders and auctions + Maintain and manage longstanding relationships with core feedlot suppliers + Manage the Tolleson cattle dispatcher to ensure that the correct amount and mix of cattle arrive at the plant daily + Work with cattle feeders to monitor cattle numbers in their respective area + Travel in the region representing JBS within the cattle industry + Communicate cattle costs to Head of Cattle Procurement + Coordinate plant harvest schedule with beef plant, cattle procurement, and sales team + Communicate with the cattle payables department to relay payment instructions and other critical information + Remain accessible during non-working hours to resolve issues + Some after-hours work will be required + Other duties as assigned Qualifications: + Good verbal and written communication skills + Team Leadership + Ability to logically problem solve + Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and computer inventory systems. + Willingness to learn computer and database systems. + Motivation to continuously improve current systems and procedures. + Works well and remains calm under pressure. + Communicates clearly across multiple teams, suppliers, and cattle haulers. + Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation + As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: + Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment; + Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays; + 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; + Base salary range of $95,000 - $120,000; + Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and + Career Development:Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs.
