The Buyer position requires a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The qualified candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, have a strong technical and analytical focus, and is disciplined to work within established guidelines.

Ensures high availability of stocking inventory while minimizing overall costs, s ources custom inventory, and serves as the product expert for assigned product lines. E valuates the existing vendor base, as well as sources new vendors. Negotiates and resolves inventory-related problems to maximize the return for the Company. Meets the established goals for inventory performance, including but not limited to inventory service level, inventory turns, and inventory value.

Qualified candidates will possess an Associates Degree or equivalent with 3-5 years purchasing experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have sound judgement in developing solutions with internal and external contacts and p ossess excellent time management skills, along with the a bility to work independently and as part of a team.
